It acts as a protective cover for the knee joint and provides leverage for the thigh muscles to straighten the knee. The patella also helps to distribute forces and reduce friction within the knee joint during movement. It is an important component of the overall structure and function of the knee. **

Yes, it is unethical to sell a Pomeranian Spitz with patella issues. Patella issues can cause pain and discomfort for the dog, and selling a dog with known health issues is not responsible breeding or ownership. It is important to prioritize the health and well-being of the dog and ensure that they receive proper care and treatment for their condition. Instead of selling a dog with patella issues, it is important to work with a veterinarian to address the health concerns and provide the dog with the necessary support and care. **
